EasyEffects is my goto application for managing most of my audio needs in my linux setup. It provides a minimal user interface packed with a lot features — compressor, reverb, delay, equalizer etc.

Comes in very handy in zoom calls when I need to adjust my microphone signal appropriately or when I just want some reverb for my guitar noodling sessions. Also, at night it's a life savior when I need to lower the bass. 😄

In Arch, it can be installed via the easyeffects package. Give it a go if you are looking for something similar.

In future posts I will demonstrate how it can be used as a minimal replacement for guitar FX.
